Mulberry and Cintas Honored by MarCom Awards
CHICAGO – Oct. 27, 2021 – Mulberry Marketing Communications and Cintas Corporation have won a Platinum MarCom Award within the Public Relations/Communications category for the execution of the 2020 Cintas America’s Best Restroom Contest. Hosted by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the MarCom Awards recognize exceptional marketing and communication materials and campaigns.
Each year, the Cintas America’s Best Restroom Contest highlights 10 public restrooms across the United States that focus on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and more. Then Cintas opens voting to the public to select the winner. The restroom with the most votes is crowned the winner and joins a “Hall of Fame” of top honorees.
With the onset of the pandemic, cleanliness in public facilities took on even greater importance. For the 2020 contest, Mulberry conducted extensive research to identify potential nominees, developed and distributed press releases announcing the contest, the top 10 finalists and the winner. Mulberry also managed social media ads in the top 10 markets and hosted a media event at winner Bancroft Park in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Mulberry helped Cintas achieve coverage for the contest in local, trade and Tier 1 media outlets, including Forbes, Fox News, LIVE with Kelly and Ryan, New York Post, Miami Herald, Dallas Morning News, Cincinnati Enquirer, Colorado Springs Gazette and Charlotte Observer.
