Mulberry brings the love
in Cintas Janitor of the Year contest

To help create national awareness for Cintas Corporation’s facility service division, Mulberry tapped into local schools to recognize the people who keep them clean. The Janitor of the Year contest showcases heart-warming stories of hard-working people who play just as an important role in students’ lives as many of the teachers.

The contest requires people to nominate their favorite janitor for a chance to win $2,500 for themselves and their school. After logging more than 100,000 finalist votes in the first year, journalists across the country picked up on the heart-warming story and five stations were on hand to cover the winning janitor’s special school assembly – complete with student-made signs, a special cheer squad performance and an honor guard ceremony.
