Mulberry Recognized for Work on GBAC STAR™ Campaign


CHICAGO (November 3, 2020)Mulberry Marketing Communications has been honored with a Platinum MarCom Award for its work with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, a Division of ISSA. Developed by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the MarCom Awards celebrate the most impactful marketing and communication campaigns and materials.

Mulberry was recognized within the Strategic Communications category and Public Relations subcategory for its support of the GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation program. Launched during the pandemic, the program is designed for facilities of all sizes and types, and provides visitors and employees assurance that the facility prioritizes cleaning, disinfection and infection prevention.

Ahead of the program’s launch, Mulberry helped GBAC develop a strategy for generating awareness and building credibility for GBAC STAR among facility managers, executives and consumers. Mulberry also developed an animated chalkboard video highlighting the GBAC STAR’s purpose, benefits and timeliness.

Mulberry leveraged its extensive experience within the cleaning industry and its related vertical markets to promote new facilities that had committed to and achieved accreditation. Mulberry also conducted extensive pitching locally to promote accreditation at professional sports stadiums, convention centers, hotels and other facilities.

In just four months, Mulberry helped GBAC secure 1,850 pieces of coverage across Tier 1, local and trade media, more than 30.5 million estimated views for stories mentioning GBAC STAR​ and more than 72,000 social media shares​.
