Challenge

Digi is a leading Internet of Things (IoT) technology provider, but had limited exposure in the retail sector, where there are numerous opportunities to connect devices to the Internet.

Strategy

Mulberry helped launch Digi’s AnywhereUSB hub which makes it easy to connect USB and serial retail devices to the Internet at the National Retail Federation (NRF) Big Show. Mulberry was in charge of facilitating face-to-face briefings at the tradeshow with key industry analysts and journalists and secured media coverage in retail trade media about Digi’s wireless gateways and modules used to connect indoor and outdoor interactive displays and self-service terminals.

Mulberry developed and promoted white papers focused on the benefits of the IoT for retail environments and implemented a thought leadership campaign, including executive interviews in key media on relevant topics, bylined article placements and blogging.
